The Religious Telescope was the main English periodical for the denomination from 1834 to 1889. After July 1889 it came under control of the New Constitution (Liberal) United Brethren and continued as their main organ until 1946 when it merged with the Evangelical Messenger and continued as the Telescope Messenger until 1968.

From 1885 to July 1887 the Conservator was the mouthpiece for the Radical United Brethren. After the division of 1889 it became the principle organ of the Old Constitution United Brethren. In March 1954 it merged with the Missionary Monthly to form the United Brethren.
The Missionary Monthly was published in Huntington, Indiana by The Church of the United Brethren in Christ (Old Constitution) from 1897 to March 1954 when it merged with The Christian Conservator to form The United Brethren.
