Fort Wayne Resource Center Information

The Fort Wayne Resource Center is located on the main level of the Carew Building.

Because a Huntington University Librarian is on site on Tuesday Mornings use of the Resource Center will be largely on the honor system

Using materials from the Resource Center

  • If you are going to use a book IN the building for an hour or two you may take it out but please return it in the return basket on the desk just inside the door when you are done.
  • If you are going to take a book OUT OF THE BUILDING, even if just overnight, please email Anita Gray with the 13 digit barcode number on the label that says "Huntington University Library."

If you have questions on how the system works, contact:

  • Anita Gray -- Director of Library Services
  • Randy Neuman - Associate Director of Library Services (Also for Interlibrary Loans)

RichLyn Catalog

The Library Discovery System will help searchers:

  • Find books and other resources located in the library
  • Find articles that relate to their topic
  • Allow access to materials online
  • Show the researcher materials that can be requested on Inter Library Loan

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is possible for Fort Wayne students with some restrictions.

Journal articles: All articles requested will be sent as an efile to your HUNTINGTON email account. The ILL Department prefers a huntington.edu email address to aleviate some problems with restrictive email providers.

Books & media: You will be notified when a book or other media is received at the RichLyn Library in Huntington. Books will be available for pick-up at the RichLyn Library on Wednesday through Friday. If the book is not picked up during this period it will be available at the FWRC on Monday or Tuesday morning. All books are due back at RichLyn Library before the due date. Fines for overdue material are $1.00 per day.
