Annual Conferences
Annual Conferences were the regional governing body of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. They would meet once a year to license and ordain ministers, fix boundaries, assign ministers to congregations, oversee regional camps and educational institutions, and provide reports of activities and financial matters. Every four years representatives of the Annual Conference would meet as a General Conference to elect bishops, and update the discipline.

Auglaize ConferenceAuglaize Conference was formed in 1853 out of Scioto Conference and was originally called Maumee Conference. It encompassed most of the western part of Ohio (except the far northern counties) and a few of the eastern counties in Indiana.

Indiana ConferenceIndiana Conference was formed in 1830 out of some of the churches that were part of the Indiana & Kentucky District of Miami Conference. It encompassed the southern part of the State of Indiana.

Lower Wabash ConferenceLower Wabash Conference was formed after the Wabash Conference was divided into two parts in 1858. In the Old Constitution church the Lower Wabash Conference ceased with the Division of 1889. In 1909 the General Conference of the New Constitution church attached Lower Wabash Conference territory in the state of Indiana to White River conference.

Ohio German ConferenceThe Ohio German Conference consisted of a smattering of mostly German speaking churches from Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. The minutes available here were translated from the German by Rev. E. F. Wegner.

St. Joseph ConferenceSt. Joseph Conference was formed in 1845 when the Northern part of Indiana and parts of Southwestern Michigan were removed from Wabash Conference.

Sandusky ConferenceSandusky Conference was formed in 1834 and originally encompassed many of the northern counties of Ohio. It spread west into Northeast Indiana by the 1840s. The conference was divided in 1854 with the western part (from the mouth of the Maumee river and west) becoming North Ohio Conference.

Upper Wabash ConferenceUpper Wabash Conference was formed when Wabash Conference was divided in 1858. The first annual conference was held 1859. In the Old Constitution church the conference did not survive the Division of 1889

Wabash ConferenceWabash Conference was formed in 1835 and originally encompassed northern and western Indiana, a part of Michigan, and all of Illinois. In 1845 the northern part of the conference was set apart as St. Joseph Conference and a large part of Illinois formed the Illinois Conference. In 1858 the conference was divided into Upper and Lower Wabash Conference.
