Lower Wabash Annual Conference
The Lower Wabash Conference was formed when the Upper Wabash Conference was divided in 1858. The Conference consisted of churches in both Illinois and Indiana. In the Old Constitution Church the Conference ceased to exist in 1889. The Conference continued for a short while in the New Constitution Church but gave up its Indiana territory in 1909. It was incorporated into the Illinois Conference in 1918.
Pre-1889
Minutes for 1859 to 1878 are in poor condition. The original minutes are heavily damaged and faded. The microfilm, from which these scans were created, are very dark.
