Wabash Annual Conference
Wabash Conference was formed in 1835 and originally encompassed northern and western Indiana, a part of Michigan, and all of Illinois. In 1845 the northern part of the conference was set apart as St. Joseph Conference and a large part of Illinois formed the Illinois Conference. In 1858 the conference was divided into Upper and Lower Wabash Conference.
